DEGLOVED HAND EFFECT: Ripped Skin Horror Effect

"This effect consists in two layers of prosthetics: a subcutaneous layer and a realistic skin layer on top of it. When both are correctly applied, it looks like a normal hand, but you can rip off the skin layer to show the gory part. How to use: - clean the skin with a bit of alcohol to get rit of any dirt - Start with the subcutaneous prosthetics: - apply prosaide or any other medical glue to your skin (and optionally on the prosthetic) and let it set up - apply the prosthetic carefully and, if necessary, glue the spaces that didn't attach properly - blend the edges with a Qtip with acetone and remove the flashing - Add color with makeup, alcohol-based colors or whatever skin-safe paint you want - Now prepare the skin layer: - Stick the knuckles' part - Apply fake blood (as soft glue) to stick most of the prosthetic - Blend the edges with acetone (this will also soften the acetone of the prosthesis under it, sticking them together and 'closing' the skin layer) - Paint the skin with alcohol-based colors, makeup or cream colors to match the model's skin tone Now you can make the degloved effect real whenever you want just peeling the skin with friction, anything pointy or even your hand and nails!"
