❤ Thank you Freaks and Geeks. In not even a year I somehow hit 4k, and all the support I’ve gotten here really gave me the confidence I needed going into junior year. I’ve been dealing with a lot of imposter syndrome as a first-gen student in college, always feeling like I didn’t earn my spot and had to prove something. Making all those cringe captions was kinda my weird way of trying to prove I could do something. At first, it was fun, but eventually it just burned me out. I stopped enjoying my art, and honestly, it altered how I viewed the world. So I’m wrapping this up. I’ve posted my last captions, finished the comms I owed, and I’ll be deleting this account in the next few days. Thank you to everyone, followers, art mutuals, and caption makers for inspiring me and giving me people to lean on when I needed it.
