I use Wickett And Craig bridle leather for these, the higher rigidity in full grain veg tan keeps gravity from working against you! The support ring is snap set allowing you to swap to different sizes, and the front facing buckles are equipped with hand sewn strap keepers for extra support and adjustability. Your Trillium will come with a standard 2 inch ring but can support up to a size 3. A note about Wickett And Craig’s iconic Buck Brown: this color is their traditional harness leather so the finish is a little different from my other bridle hides! It’s also a natural veg tan but heavily finished with waxes and oils so that “pull up” effect will give it a super cool patina the more it interacts with your unique body chemistry and creases with wear.
