Forest Roots Worsted/Aran Bulky Art Yarn, Sold in 25 Yard Increments & Made to Order
Payout
"This listing is for my signature worsted/bulky art yarn blend known by Forest Roots, part of my expanded Nature - Forest line of yarns. Sold in ~1 ounce / 25 yard increments. Approximately 8 WPI and 4-5 stitches per inch. Some variance is to be expected due to the handspun and textured nature of this yarn. Knits up great on 6mm or US10 size needles & up. Very airy and lofty, with lots of squish & super soft against skin when knit! Works great for weaving and has a sturdy cotton core allowing it to be used for warp as well as weft. If you would like a bulk order (500+ yards), please reach out to me for extended turn around time and about a bulk order discount! This hand spun art yarn features hand dyed merino wool, silk fibers, & hand dyed lamb locks. Varying shades and hues of forest greens throughout, with earthy brown, nature in a yarn! * Photos show previous spins of this yarn and are a representation of what you will receive. There will be slight variation in color of the greens and silk fibers or lamb locks as everything in this yarns creation is hand dyed in small batches. I refund shipping overages! Due to the way Etsy manages shipping fees when purchasing multiples, you may be charged more than an accurate amount and I will refund any overage once I pack your order. If you'd like a large or bulk order of this yarn, feel free to reach out! This yarn is available in 25 yard increments, multiple orders will be made to one continuous length unless requested otherwise. See included video for a reference of what 25 yards looks like and see additional photos for a hank of 100 yards for visual reference. Fiber content may have slight variation of I have other fibers on hand to blend in, such as flax or cotton. This yarn will work best for your fiber arts projects such as knitting, crochet, weaving, macrame/macraweave, and embroidery pieces, or even needle felting, but the sky is the limit when it comes to your creativity! When using for your projects, take extra care to prevent unraveling, this yarn has been wet set but may still come apart easier than other typical factory made yarns or materials. Tie off any ends after cutting for use in your fiber art projects. There are no synthetic materials in these art yarns and are all sustainably handmade with care by me. I dye my own wool and silk, as such, dye lots may vary therefore it is recommended to purchase the entire amount you may need in one order. If you have any special requests, I accept custom yarn orders so please reach out to me with any inquiries! Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen, I do my best to portray accurate colors in my photographs which are taken in natural light. All of my handspun art yarns will be shipped out in compostable, recyclable & reusable plastic free packaging with 10% of the purchase going towards an environmental or humanities based charity. I also include a little packets of flower seeds ready for planting. The flower mix is especially beneficial to our pollinators, and once you have some blooms, you can also explore eco printing or dyeing!
