I’m currently raising funds to help me get a medical service dog specifically for my seizure episodes, a companion that can provide support, assistance, and safety during medical episodes and difficult moments in daily life. A properly trained service dog would not only help me feel safer, but also give me more independence, and confidence navigating everyday activities especially at school.
This journey is a big one, and the costs for care, equipment, and medical-related needs can be overwhelming. Especially as I will be the one training it myself since my disabilities are complicated and having a professional trainer would be too expensive.
