I’m a disabled narcoleptic artist who’s struggling to make my dream of selling my fuse bead portraits at RuPaul’s DragCon come true. I suffer every day with the exhaustion level of someone who hasn’t slept in 48 hours. I have such little energy that I can basically just make art and sleep. I can’t go outside alone because of my narcolepsy with cataplexy. My cataplexy attacks render me physically paralyzed for 10-15 min while alert and dreaming. My muscle weakness makes holding things difficult and I’m running into more health problems with my hands which is devastating to my career as an artist who’s just starting to get my foot in the door. I’ll have to take more breaks and my art will take longer which pushes back my goal for a booth next year. I struggle with funds to get art supplies for all my grand ideas. As well as supplies for my future hopeful booth at DragCon. I also have a gofundme to help with booth fee and costs associated with getting prints and stickers made. But I could really use help getting supplies. Thank you so much for considering helping me!
