Every other diaper sold in the US uses tree pulp for the white pad in the center of the diaper. Even the ones that claimed to be "bamboo" diapers use tree pulp for 40%+ of the diaper, which we think is deceptive. Not only is bamboo drier, which makes our diapers perform better; bamboo regrows in 60 days (vs 20+ years to regrow the 1B+ trees cut down for the diaper industry). Are your diapers biodegradable? No, they are 88% biodegradable but there are some non-biodegradable elements, which is true of all disposable diapers today, unfortunately. We feel better about this than most because we offset 100%+ of the plastics used in our diapers and our business through the Plastic Credit Exchange.
