Bat House
All Natural Cedar Bat Houses.
These bat houses are simply made of unfinished natural Pacific Cedar, waterproof wood glue and silicone. Cedar is inherently resistant to weather rot and insects which means they are naturally long lasting and beautiful.
The 3 chamber design allows for larger colonies to roost. Baffles are spaced at an optimal 3/4" wide. This is optimal for bats movement and safety from predators and insects. The landing hangs 3.5" below the entrance allowing plenty of space for bats to land and exit.
The double roof design gives two layers of protection and the slanted outer roof allows for better water runoff. All roof seams sealed with outdoor rated silicone to ensure chambers stay dry.
An added benefit of this design is that individual bat houses are expandable by the tongue and groove exterior edging. This allows for colonies to be expanded based upon your specific mounting area. Each individual bat house simply adds 3.5” of width to your mounting pad/area.
Each house comes lasered engraved with a bat medallion affixed to front which naturally darkens the front of the house. (Optional without).

SIZING

This bag at the widest part of the bag is approx. 19.5 inches(toward the bottom it is approx. 16 inches. Bottom is semi-structured). The height is approx. 15 inches(not including the handles which are approx. 7 inches long, but handles will lay flat against the side as seen in the photo). It has approx. 4 inch straps on the side that you can snap into an area on the side of the bag that will help you reduce the height when snapped in place to approx. 13.5 inches or closer to approx. 12.5 if you fold the top portion of the bag down to snap them in place. The bag is pliable, depending on the contents. Bottom is semi-structured.
