Less brushes will also force new painters to learn how to use one brush in many different ways. ex: using the side, corner, and edge. I like the flats because I can get a straight edge stroke if I need to. The ivory synthetics are strong and hold their shape. I like the long handle because I like to hold the brush at end to make sure I stand back when I paint. I have been using them for over 10 years and their artist brush sets were a big help when I was starting in terms of helping me learn what brushes I liked."
